Made with Buffalo Trace's wheated bourbon recipe, which substitutes wheat for the rye traditionally used as bourbon's secondary grain, William Larue Weller combines remarkable richness and concentration with the softer, rounded character that has made the Weller name one of the most sought-after in American whiskey.

Distilled in the winter of 2006, the 2018 release was aged for 12 years and 6 months before bottling. The release was drawn from 149 barrels matured across Buffalo Trace Warehouses C, I, K, L, M, and Q, giving the batch a broad range of warehouse locations and aging conditions. Bottled at its natural barrel strength without dilution or filtration, it preserves the full character developed during more than twelve years in new charred oak.

The 2018 William Larue Weller offers a dense and expressive flavor profile led by dried fruit, fig, and caramelized vanilla. Layers of dark fruit and deep caramel sweetness develop alongside mature oak, vanilla, baking spice, and the substantial warmth expected from a bourbon bottled at 125.7 proof.
