Brandy

Brandy is a distilled spirit made from fermented fruit - most often grapes - with Cognac, produced in the Charente region of France from Ugni Blanc grapes and aged in Limousin oak, representing the category's most celebrated expression. Hennessy dominates the range here, from the approachable VS tier in the LeBron James and Faith XLVII limited editions to the extended barrel aging of Hennessy XO. Vallein Tercinier's Lot 90 Brut de Fut offers cask-strength Grande Champagne Cognac, where the top-ranked growing region and uncut bottling amplify terroir-driven fruit and rancio character. Adrien Camut's 12 Year Calvados shifts the base fruit to apple, distilled in Normandy under its own appellation rules. At the apex sits Louis XIII by Remy Martin, a blend of up to 1,200 eaux-de-vie aged for decades in century-old tierçon barrels.
