Screaming Eagle is Napa Valley's definitive cult Cabernet Sauvignon, produced in tiny quantities from a small Oakville estate since its debut 1992 vintage, which became one of the most celebrated California wines ever made. With production of only a few hundred cases and a legendary waiting list, it's among the scarcest and most coveted wines on earth.

Microscopic supply meets global demand: a few hundred cases a year, allocated through a mailing list with a wait measured in years, and perfect scores from top critics across multiple vintages. Virtually every bottle changes hands on the secondary market, where scarcity sets the price. Our bottles are sourced, verified, and ready to ship.

At this level provenance is everything. We source through trusted collections and trade channels, inspect capsules, labels, and fill levels, and photograph each bottle individually. Storage history is assessed before we list, and we welcome questions and can provide additional detail on any bottle before purchase.

The estate produces a second label, known to collectors as The Flight (formerly Second Flight), built around Merlot rather than Cabernet. It offers the estate's craftsmanship and rarity at a relative value, and has become highly collectible in its own right, an excellent entry into the Screaming Eagle universe.

Both can be reasonable, depending on the vintage and your preference. Screaming Eagle is built to develop in the cellar, while mature bottles can be extraordinary with careful decanting and time in the glass. For cellaring, keep the wine cool, dark, and undisturbed with stable temperature and humidity. We can help with drinking windows for specific vintages.
