Macallan Single Malt

The Macallan is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in Craigellachie, Speyside, Scotland, operating since 1824. The distillery uses exceptionally small pot stills and a high proportion of sherry-seasoned oak casks sourced from Jerez, Spain, which define its characteristic style. The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Cask and Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask represent the core aged range, the latter blending American and European sherry oak maturation. The Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak advances that sherry-forward profile with extended maturation. The limited Edition series, including Edition 2, Edition 3, and Edition 4, each feature distinct cask combinations developed in collaboration with external creatives, while Classic Cut 2017 and Macallan Concept Number 3 David Carson offer higher-strength, experimentally framed expressions at the upper tier.
