Stolichnaya Red Label has been distilled 4 times. Generally repeated distillation will produce a purer spirit that is smoother on the palate. Repeated distillation has improved the quality of this spirit as is represented by its high critic rating. Stolichnaya Red Label is a clear, grain-based vodka. Grain vodkas are the most popular and tend to be smooth and fruity. Grain based vodkas generally do not require as much distillation as vegetable based vodkas as grain produces less impurities during the fermentation process. Stoli was the foirst to introduce flavored vodka and their experience shines through in the quality of ingredients and true flavor profiles in all of their flavored vodkas.

The grain is carefully inspected before it is accepted into the distillery. It is then, slowely fermented before being distilled three times. The distilled spirit travels to the famed Latvijas Balzams facility in Latvia where it is blended with artisan well water, sourced deep below the earth.The spirit is then filtered through super fine quartz sand to begin the removal of impurities. The flow rate is set through Russian birch wood charcoal, to optimize the spirit. To ensure perfection the spirit goes through a freeze-filtration process at -18C. the super-chilled spirit is then passed at an ultra-slow velocity through an ion-charged filter and allowed to rest.

Stolichnaya Elit Super Smooth Russian Vodka is Clear,delicate vanilla bean and talc aromas. A soft, extremely smooth entry leads to a satiny medium body with powdered sugar, delicate golden raisin, and light mineral flavors. Finishes with a long, graceful fade of sweet cream, faint spice, and mineral dust.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
