Stoli Elit is produced in Latvia under the SPI Group from a mashbill of winter wheat and rye grain. The distillate is refined into what the producer classifies as high-grade Alpha Spirit — the highest purity classification in the Russian and Latvian distilling tradition — before undergoing the expression's defining production step: freeze-filtration at -18°C. This sub-zero process removes residual impurities that conventional charcoal or carbon filtration leaves behind, yielding a spirit of remarkable clarity and neutral character that separates Elit from the standard Stolichnaya range.

Exceptionally clean and restrained on the nose, opening with dry grain and faint parchment. Beneath the neutral topline sit delicate suggestions of vanilla, wet stone, and a whisper of citrus peel. The entry is immediately silky, coating the palate with a refined, almost oily texture. At mid-palate, balanced grain sweetness emerges alongside soft wheat character and subtle white pepper. An icy minerality runs through the core, giving the spirit a crisp, focused structure that holds its composure without turning sharp. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
