This vintage is entirely Sta. Rita Hills. A “textbook” example of this AVA with lots of high tones, candied violets, raspberry preserves, spiced cranberry, and warm spices. Liquid Farm Winery SBC Pinot Noir is a remarkable red wine that showcases the elegance and complexity of the Santa Barbara County terroir. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this British Columbia wine possesses a delicate and vibrant character that entices the senses.

The nose reveals enticing aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries, and subtle earthy notes, inviting anticipation of the rewarding sip to come. On the palate, this full-bodied Pinot Noir offers a harmonious blend of red and dark fruit flavors, complemented by hints of spice and a well-integrated oak presence. With its silky tannins and a long, smooth finish, Liquid Farm Winery SBC Pinot Noir is a true testament to the artistry of winemaking.

Made with to same exacting quality standards and philosophy as the Chardonnays, albeit in much smaller quantities, the SBC Pinot Noir was sourced from top-notch vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills: Spear, La Rinconada, Solomon Hills, Sanford & Benedict, and Radian. The wine was fermented with native yeast in open-top fermenters with about ten percent whole cluster before resting in neutral French barrique for 11 months.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
