The Domaine Joseph Voillot Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens 2022 is crafted from old vines planted in 1959 in the prestigious Rugiens-Bas sector. The 2022 vintage, this wine is characterized by its powerful yet precise structure, featuring classic aromas of wild cherry, black tea, and iron-rich minerality. 

Domaine Joseph Voillot is located in Volnay, a small wine village a few kilometres from Beaune. For 6 generations, they have been cultivating 8 hectares of vines that extend across the municipalities of Meursault, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune. The 13 appellations of the estate are all produced with equal care in the purest Burgundian tradition with respect for the great terroirs of Burgundy. Responsible agriculture is part of every intervention in the vine parcels for the best possible results, and the intention is always to make the best decisions keeping the environment in mind. The farm has been awarded the high environmental value (HVE) certification since 2017. Guided by the experience of previous generations and motivated by the desire to pass on these traditions to the next, the will of Domaine Joseph Voillot is above all to share during a moment of conviviality, a history forged through the vintages.
