The Epicurean Lowland Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

A lowland blended malt from the excellent Douglas Laing that's "city born and bred" is personified by the 1930s cheeky chappy and all-around connoisseur on the label!

Very buttery, joined by notes of lemongrass, grist and cereals. A fruity hint of green banana and refreshing spearmint. 

Apples, pears and white grapes at first. Elegantly grassy later, with some chocolate fudge bringing in a sugary sweetness. A pinch of pepper lingers and lasts onto the finish.

The finish is cloudy lemonade, honey barley and granary bread with a thin layer of thyme honey.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
