An early and distinctive bottling of Suntory’s Yamazaki 18 Year Old, dating to approximately 2004–2007. This Japanese-market release comes from a short transitional period in the history of Yamazaki, after Suntory adopted the “Single Malt Whisky” designation but before the 18 Year Old moved from 750ml to the later 700ml format.

Presented in the classic black-and-gold Yamazaki label with the historic gold Suntory crest, this bottling retains the older 750ml format and carries an individual bottle number on the front label. It is accompanied by its original cream presentation box.

Yamazaki 18 is matured in a combination of American, Spanish and Japanese oak casks, producing the rich, layered style for which the expression became internationally recognized. This earlier numbered 750ml release is particularly interesting to collectors as a relatively short-lived bridge between the older “Pure Malt” Yamazaki 18 bottlings of the 1990s and the modern 700ml presentation.
