Peychaud’s the bright red bitters created by New Orleans pharmacist Antoine Amedee Peychaud in the 19th century is synonymous with the Sazerac cocktail. With that storied name hovering in the background the versatile Peychaud’s Aperitivo makes its debut. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
