Andy & Charlie Nelson launched Nelson Brothers Whiskey with the same exacting standards of their great-great-great grandfather, who founded the family distillery in 1860. This blended bourbon, both vigorous and versatile, not only meets those standards—it surpasses them. We’re proud to resurrect our remarkable family recipe, with the first bottling since 1909. Painstakingly filtered through a mellowing bed of sugar maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels, it’s easy to taste why Charles Nelsons wheated mash bill recipe and meticulous process set the standard by which all future Tennessee Whiskeys are judged. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we can include optional ice packs in our insulated shippers and select an overnight shipping service & a Weather Waiver. Otherwise, it would be unsafe to ship in those conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request. We flag temps above 72 °F or below 32 °F as extreme.
