Milagro Tequila is produced at its own distillery in the Jalisco Highlands under NOM 1559, with Pedro Juarez serving as Master Distiller. The process begins with estate-grown blue agave, a portion of which is slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens for an average of 36 hours before an extended 72-hour fermentation — longer than industry standard — to develop a broader spectrum of flavors and aromas. The tequila is then distilled using a combination of both pot and column stills before resting in oak barrels for 18 months, yielding the depth and smoothness that sets this añejo apart from more aggressively oaked competitors.
Milagro Anejo is a 100% blue agave tequila which is aged in American oak barrels for up to 14 months for a smooth, refined and agave-forward taste. The aging results in a taste that is smooth, refined and still agave-forward. Milagro Añejo is best enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in your favorite tequila cocktail.
COLOR:
Pale amber
NOSE:
The nose opens with toasted oak and orange peel, followed by warm toasted coconut and a faint thread of smoke. Underneath, there is a subtle sweetness that hints at the caramel and butterscotch waiting on the palate.
TASTE:
Caramel and coconut with chocolate, tobacco and tropical fruit notes, and a sweet, yet spicy Finish. The entry is smooth and honeyed, with rich cooked agave at the core flanked by stone fruit and butterscotch. At mid-palate, layers of caramel, dark chocolate, and tropical fruit emerge. A tobacco-leaf dryness balances the sweetness, keeping the profile grounded and complex.
FINISH: The finish is medium-long with lingering warmth, carrying notes of toasted coconut and light spice. A gentle smokiness trails off, leaving a clean, slightly sweet impression of roasted agave.
