Michael Couvreur Spirale 18 Year Old Jura Cask Single Malt 51% 1 of 450 500ml

Distilled in Scotland in 1994 and matured in a wine cask from Jura. Deep amber / copper with some sediment evident. Plush aromatics hint at dried fruits, vanilla then later, beeswax, light raisin cake plus whispers of ginger and sulphur. Quite intense, with ginger and cardamom featuring on the palate, followed by malt and bittersweet oak. Well balanced spices. Shows solid length. The name refers to a style of wine made from grapes dried on straw mats. 49% Alc./Vol.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we include complimentary ice packs in our insulated shippers. However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request.
