Method and Madness Single Malt Irish Whiskey

The first Irish single malt from Midleton in a very long time – French Limousin oak adds floral aromatics while bourbon casks provide a toasted, nutty character. One to savour. Champagne with oak light wood hues. Lemongrass and oak immediately fill the nose with a tiny hint of stone fruit. Hazelnut and wheat grain nudge out other aromas but honeysuckle and rosemary linger around the edges. Very soft, almost floral and creamy with honeysuckle and vanilla coming together nicely. Cedar notes flash briefly in the middle of the palate while the bourbon cask takes over with spicy cinnamon, nutmeg and caramel persisting through the finish.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we include complimentary ice packs in our insulated shippers. However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request.
