A herbal, vegetal note is immediately apparent in notes of tomato plant and heather, along with touches of morello cherries and smoky bacon. Sweet and savoury meet on the palate, with notes of smoked ham, wine gums, raspberry jam and honey. Characteristic coastal notes come to the forefront in the finish of this dram.

A limited edition Longrow Red single malt from the gang at Springbank in Campbeltown! This edition of the heavily peated whisky spent four years maturing in bourbon casks, followed by a further three years in French Pinot Noir wine casks before it was bottled at a robust 57.1% ABV.

Springbank is one of three remaining distilleries in the Campbeltown region on the Kintyre Peninsula of southwest Scotland. It produces single malt whisky under three different labels in distinct styles; Springbank, Longrow and Hazelburn.

Springbank was established in 1828 by Archibald and Hugh Mitchell, becoming the 14th licensed distillery in Campeltown. Today, it is the oldest independent and family-owned distillery in Scotland.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
