From the family that invented Crème de Cassis in 1841, Lejay remains one of France's most premium liqueur producers; made from 100% natural ingredients including two varietals of cassis (or alternatively known as blackcurrant). The perfect companion to sparkling wine or sparkling water, as well as a key component in many classic cocktails, try Lejay in a Kir Royal (1 part Lejay, 4 parts champagne) or an El Diablo (1 part Lejay, 1 part tequila, 1 part lime juice, 3 parts ginger beer).

Tasting notes from the producer: "Intense, fresh tart blackcurrant with succulent cherry and plum hints. Rich, velvety texture with full-bodied blackcurrants that continue to open with hints of cherry and plum, becoming more luscious with exotic zest, fruit jam notes and a final wave of crème brûlée. Finishes with a rich-dry balance led by blackcurrant notes and hints of cherry."

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
