Agneya (UG-nee-YAH), derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “belonging to fire”, is a lightly peated Single Malt whisky matured in Sherry and Bourbon casks, where depth and complexity unfold to embody the very essence of fire and wood.

It is one of India’s most refined and elegant whiskies, balancing its complexity with notes of nuttiness and ripe fruit, followed by a gentle smokiness on the palate. Delicate hints of chocolate undertones intertwined with subtle vanilla sweetness; a touch of spice, dried apple and apricot. Notes of fruit jam and peat dust with earthy undertones. Mango, ripe banana, rich toffee,and light spice followed by a warm embrace of dried peat smoke. Melon adds a refreshing twist, while a sweet, fruity essence lingers with a soft, rounded smokiness. A blend of sweet and salty nuances culminating in a smooth & smoky finish. Balanced layers of tropical fruit sweetness and soft spice leave a lasting impression and a long finish.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we can include optional ice packs in our insulated shippers and select an overnight shipping service & a Weather Waiver. Otherwise, it would be unsafe to ship in those conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request. We flag temps above 72 °F or below 32 °F as extreme.
