Don Julio 1942 Tequila is an Añejo tequila presented in a large format bottle, created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the opening of Don Julio's first distillery. This expression is aged for a minimum of two and a half years in oak barrels.
Handcrafted as a tribute to the year Don Julio González began his tequila-making journey, Don Julio 1942 is produced in small batches from 100% Blue Weber Agave. Aged for at least 2.5 years in oak, this Añejo tequila achieves a distinct profile recognized by connoisseurs globally and often featured in exclusive bars and restaurants. It is bottled at 80 proof, reflecting careful production standards.
