Cordero Di Montezemolo Barolo Monfalletto 2021
An inviting ruby core and a slight garnet tone at the rim. On the nose, all the Barolo classics: dried cherry set on a basket of red roses, accented by orange peel, camphor, and tar. The palate is multidimensional and immediately attractive, with rich density, wild strawberry, and plenty of spice. A long finish is carried on sturdy tannins. This wine shows consistency, elegance, and complexity, just like it does every vintage. Drink now–2045.
This has been one of our best-selling Barolos ever, and each time we offer it, it earns glowing member reviews: The last three vintages have averaged over 4.5-stars, putting Montezemolo on par with some of the most expensive names in the Piedmont.
