Bottled at 47.2% ABV in a 750ml format, this small-batch expression highlights the diversity of Oaxaca's agave landscape with a profile rich in minerality, herbs, citrus, and concentrated agave character.

Produced by Berta Vásquez in Oaxaca, Mexico, this expression is crafted from Mexicanito agave, a rare agave variety prized for its complex and distinctive flavor profile. Rezpiral's mission is to preserve traditional mezcal-making knowledge by collaborating directly with individual producers and highlighting their unique production methods and regional traditions.

The agaves are harvested at maturity, roasted in traditional earthen pits, naturally fermented with ambient yeasts, and distilled using traditional methods that preserve the agave's natural character and sense of place. Each Rezpiral bottling is intended to reflect the personality of both the producer and the agave variety.

Crystal clear with brilliant clarity and a rich, natural viscosity. Fresh herbs, citrus peel, cooked agave, green vegetation, wet stone minerality, and delicate floral notes. Complex and expressive with flavors of roasted agave, lime zest, green pepper, fresh herbs, tropical fruit, earthy minerals, and subtle spice.  Long and elegant with lingering minerality, herbal complexity, citrus oils, and gentle agave sweetness.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we can include optional ice packs in our insulated shippers and select an overnight shipping service & a Weather Waiver. Otherwise, it would be unsafe to ship in those conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request. We flag temps above 72 °F or below 32 °F as extreme.
