Clif Family Winery & Farm is a wine producer based on the eastern edge of downtown St Helena, in California's Napa Valley. The winery was established in 2004 by Gary Erickson and Kit Crawford?– co-founders of the Clif Bar energy bar (now owned by food giant Mondelez) – with the first wines released in 2008.

The winery sources fruit from 90 acres (40 hectares) of estate-owned vineyards boasting nine grape varieties. Despite the location of the estate's cellar door, the vineyards are located in the Howell Mountain and Oak Knoll District AVAs.

We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
