Founded by Anne-Françoise Gros in 1988, the Domaine A.F. Gros extends over the greatest terroirs of Pommard and Vosne-Romanée. Anne-Françoise Gros and François Parent, her husband, indeed combined their domains to exploit 10 hectares in the heart of the cradle of the greatest reds of the Côte de Beaune, the Côte de Nuits but also of Beaujolais. Today, their children Mathias and Caroline have joined the adventure alongside their parents, perpetuating with dedication their precious heritage.

Recognized worldwide for the high quality of its wines, the Gros-Parent family brings to life superb cuvées in very limited quantities.

At the heart of the Côte de Nuits, the Clos Vougeot is a prestigious Grand Cru of Burgundy surrounded by walls since the 12th century. Once owned by the monks of Cîteaux, this historic vineyard extends over more than 50 hectares of exceptional terroir. It brings together a mosaic of plots with varied soils, reflecting all the complexity of Pinot Noir.

The 2023 vintage in Burgundy is distinguished by a generous harvest and optimal maturity of the grapes, despite sometimes unstable weather. After a spring punctuated by a few episodes of frost, the summer, both hot and dry, was tempered by timely rainfall, thus offering ideal conditions for a homogeneous maturation of the harvest. The result gives birth to an exceptional vintage, carried by a remarkable harmony between the fruit, the freshness and the structure. A promising balance that augurs a good aging potential.

We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
