Sensitive and passionate, Anne was self-taught through recognized professional training courses in the world of wine and viticulture. Convinced by organic and biodynamic viticulture, she took over the strategic management of the estate in 1998, in coordination with her sister Catherine, and reinvented her viticultural methods. With a lunar calendar, rigorous sorting and manual harvesting, Anne follows the natural cycles of the terroirs to express all their particularities.  Fascinated by the beauty and uniqueness of Burgundy's climates, Catherine returned to the region in the luxury hotel industry. Committed to the protection and preservation of an exceptional natural heritage, she took over the management of Domaine Parent with her sister Anne in 1998, contributing to its growth in France and abroad.

The 2020 Corton les Renardes Grand Cru has 100% whole bunch and aged entirely in new oak. The stems make quite an impression on the nose, just slightly occluding the terroir expression at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, quite austere on the entry, good depth and freshness with a spicy finish. Correct and with its tie tied up a bit too tight at the moment, gives this 4-6 years to loosen it.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we can include optional ice packs in our insulated shippers and select an overnight shipping service & a Weather Waiver. Otherwise, it would be unsafe to ship in those conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request. We flag temps above 72 °F or below 32 °F as extreme.
