Distilled in 1980, this stunning Macallan was bottled in 1999. The 1980 vintage was presented in box packaging featuring the famous Sara Midda watercolours of Easter Elchies house.

The late 70s to mid 80s bottlings of the 18 year old Macallans tend to show a much gamier, meatier profile with notes of Spices, cloves, oranges, dried fruit with some smoke and lots of classic sherry intensity. Super soft and typically luxurious in style. A very rare old bottling of a classic Sherry Oak Macallan!

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
