The Macallan Amber Liqueur is a discontinued, rare single malt Scotch whisky liqueur infused with Canadian maple syrup and natural pecan flavoring.

Built on an 8-year-old Macallan single malt Scotch whisky base, blended with Canadian maple syrup, natural pecan nut flavoring, and sweeteners.

Housed in an iconic, droplet-shaped aubergine/teardrop bottle designed by Daniela Nunzi Mihiranian of Design Bridge, complete with etched leaves and a wooden stopper.

Tastingv Notes:

  • Nose: Buttery vanilla, maple syrup, sweet malt, and mild nuttiness.
  • Palate: Viscous and pudding-like, featuring dominant maple syrup, butter pecan, rich vanilla, and a faint background of oak and spice.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we can include optional ice packs in our insulated shippers and select an overnight shipping service & a Weather Waiver. Otherwise, it would be unsafe to ship in those conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request. We flag temps above 72 °F or below 32 °F as extreme.
