Wrath Chardonnay Fermata Monterey 2021 

The 2021 Wrath Fermata is a cool-climate Chardonnay from the San Saba Vineyard, characterized by a 50% partial malolactic fermentation that balances rich, creamy notes of lemon curd and poached pear with high, vibrant acidity. It is aged for 10 months in 20% new French oak, resulting in a complex wine with 13.9% alcohol.

  • Vineyard/Appellation: San Saba Vineyard, Monterey (Estate).
  • Vinification: 50% malolactic fermentation ("Fermata" or halt) to balance richness with,crisp acidity.
  • Palate: Aromas of Meyer lemon, white peach, white flowers, and mineral wet stone. Palate offers lemon curd, poached pear, toast, and vanilla custard.
  • Clones: 35% Mt. Eden, 24% Clone 96, 18% Wente & Clone 17, 5% Kistler.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
