Cloves are readily perceptible in the flavor, with a hint of banana. Full-bodied and effervescent, the fine bubbles of carbon dioxide create a foaming sensation in the mouth. Vitus doesn’t taste like a conventional strong beer, but rather more like a premium, fruity wheat beer. Saturated with fine yeast and topped with a creamy head of foam, Vitus, our pale wheat bock has a fruity profile, resplendent with aromas of dried apricots and citrus fruits.

Vitus, made from a resurrected recipe that is now being brewed year round, is a full-bodied and intensely flavored weizenbock that offers layer upon layer of aromas and flavors. A cloudy golden color in the glass, it starts off with an incredible head that lingers and leaves gorgeous lacing behind with each sip. Scents of banana, green tropical fruit, lemon and clove fill the bouquet and continue on to the palate alongside additional flavors of sweet spice, vanilla bean, bread dough and pear flesh. Balanced and harmonious, with a long and spicy finish.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we can include optional ice packs in our insulated shippers and select an overnight shipping service & a Weather Waiver. Otherwise, it would be unsafe to ship in those conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request. We flag temps above 72 °F or below 32 °F as extreme.
