Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength Batch B1/21 750ml

Festive spices, orange peel, mint leaf, and a good whack of old sherry. Fruity notes come to the fore in the shape of damson, sultana, pineapple, and more orange. It's supported by layers of vanilla, honeycomb, and a whisper of coffee. Finish with Stewed berries, coffee again, and diced almonds.

Batch B11-21 of Redbreast's cask strength 12 Year Old, made with a combination of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills, before being matured in both American oak ex-bourbon barrels and Spanish oak oloroso sherry butts. 

Tasting Notes

Mouthfilling, oily, satisfying. Huge. Sweet stewed fruits, lively spice and a biscuity core.

Big spicy fruit and oak notes, vanilla, sultanas, pear, Sherried notes and some tropical cake.

More spice, creamy caramel, malt and fruit.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
