Raynal Tao Liqueur 750ml

A blend of Raynal French Brandy, French vodka and citrus flavorings. Sniffings detect citrus peel, a trace of oily vodka and a grapy/brandy character. Palate entry is firmly structured and juicy sweet; at midpalate, the brandy/vodka tag-team makes more of an effort to counter the citrusy surface taste. Aftertaste is mildly fruity and off-dry.

Raynal was founded in Jarnac in 1840 and used the brand 'Pellisson'. The brandy was marketed in the United Kingdom as "Three Barrels Brandy" from 1947 and elsewhere as Raynal. Pellisson acquired Raynal in 1975 and Raynal & Cie was bought by William Grant & Sons in 2005.
