Malfy Gin Originale or “Il Classico” is a quintessential Italian dry-style gin that artfully combines tradition with sun-lit elegance. Crafted by Torino Distillati near Turin and distributed by Pernod Ricard, it embodies Italian craftsmanship at 41% ABV.

Neat in the glass, it presents as crystal clear, with an aromatic profile of classic juniper, coriander, and anise. On the palate, it delivers a dry—almost salty-dry—mouthfeel, with a complex juniper backbone, subtly sweet liquorice, and a hint of citrus.

Distilled in a stainless-steel vacuum still using hand-picked botanicals—juniper, Italian lemons, coriander, cassia, angelica, and more, it is gently blended with pure spring water from the Piedmont region. The result is a gin that is both crisp and classic, firmly rooted in tradition while still offering a distinctive Italian character.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we can include optional ice packs in our insulated shippers and select an overnight shipping service & a Weather Waiver. Otherwise, it would be unsafe to ship in those conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request. We flag temps above 72 °F or below 32 °F as extreme.
