Ola Dubh (or "Black Oil") is so named because it is gloopy and viscous. This limited release has been matured in casks from Orkney's award-winning Highland Park distillery to add complementary whisky notes to what is already an amazing brew. It is chocolatey with a roasty, bittersweet aftertaste.

Highland Park 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was awarded a Double Gold medal at San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2007; it lends balance, smoothness and subtle smoke.

At Harviestoun brewery, every beer begins with a commitment to quality and local ingredients. Founded in 1983 in Alva, Scotland, we use 80% locally sourced malt and carefully selected hops to create our distinctive, award-winning brews.

Crafting every pint ,brewing process combines traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques. Head brewer Frazer leads our team through every step, from mashing and fermentation to conditioning, ensuring that each batch meets our high standards. Jonny and Ben, our brewing team work closely with Frazer to refine flavours and innovate new recipes, while our dispatch team, Mike and Barry, ensure every beer reaches our customers in perfect condition.

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Spent grain is returned to local farms as cattle feed, keeping our operations eco-friendly and supporting the local community. From grain to grass, Harviestoun Brewery is driven by passion, precision, and love for craft beer, delivering exceptional quality in every pint.

Yes, in most cases, the photograph on the product page is of the specific bottle for sale. If we have multiple quantities of the same item, the photo represents the general condition of all bottles under that SKU. Any significant condition issues, such as low ullage or bin-stained labels, will be clearly noted in the product description. We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
