Denizen Vatted Dark Rum is a blend of rum from Guyana (80% of of the blend) and unaged rhum agricole from Martinique (20% of the blend). The Guyana rum portion is made from three different rums: 25% distilled in French Savalle and Wooden coffey stills and aged in ex-bourbon barrels, 25% unaged wooden pot still rum, and the remaining 50% unaged wooden pot still rum. Bottled at 100 proof.

Incredibly floral aromas encapsulate tropical fruit and some earthier elements in the nose. It opens up sweet in the mouth, with brown sugar-crusted peach and star fruit. Flavors of green plantain are strong throughout the baking spice flecked finish.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we can include optional ice packs in our insulated shippers and select an overnight shipping service & a Weather Waiver. Otherwise, it would be unsafe to ship in those conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request. We flag temps above 72 °F or below 32 °F as extreme.
