A fourth-generation Mondavi project led by winegrower Chiara Mondavi, this California Fumé Blanc (Sauvignon Blanc) is crafted from beautiful old vines on special sites and builds on three generations' experience in making a Californian Sauvignon Blanc. Expressive aromatically and on the palate, it conveys the soul of the old vines through meticulous winemaking and artistic vision.

Sentium is a dream realized by the fourth generation of our Mondavi winegrowing family, banding together to create a wine uniquely expressive of our shared passion. It is born of the efforts and experience, with Fumé Blanc, of three generations before, in crafting a Sauvignon Blanc from California that can stand in the company of the great wines of the world.

Winegrower, Chiara Mondavi, is leading this fourth-generation wine project in both the winemaking and artistic vision. She works with great dedication and attention to detail to protect the wine, thereby expressing the soul of these beautiful old vines from these special sites.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we can include optional ice packs in our insulated shippers and select an overnight shipping service & a Weather Waiver. Otherwise, it would be unsafe to ship in those conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request. We flag temps above 72 °F or below 32 °F as extreme.
