Deep and mysterious at first sight, the 2018 vintage is rich and velvety on your palate. There is an interesting balance of earth and fruit, with traces of sweet beets, dark plums and chocolate. Though this silky wine will pair with anything, our thoughts are going to salty popcorn by the fire or Dutch Gouda cheese with some black truffle mustard.

The extended aged version of the Fracture, the 2018 Fracture 22 is the same wine as the base Fracture but spends an additional 6 months in barrel. It’s largely in the same mold with its saturated purple hue and a ripe, sexy bouquet of cassis and black raspberry fruits as well as more spicy, meaty, and white chocolate-laced aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, powerful, and straight-up seamless on the palate, it has polished tannins, not a hard edge to be found, and a great finish. Paso Robles Syrah doesn’t get much better!

We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
