Each annual release is drawn from a single barrel selection and bottled at cask strength, meaning proof varies meaningfully across vintages - the 2017 release reached 128.2 proof while the 2015 came in at 134.6. Older releases such as the 2014 and 2015 expressions carry additional years of barrel influence, concentrating caramel, dried fruit, and oak tannins more intensely than younger releases like the 2021 and 2022, where fresher vanilla and baking spice notes tend to dominate.
