Tenute Soletta Sardo Cannonau di Sardegna 2020 is one of the flagship wines of Umberto Soletta's crusade to promote Sardinian wines internationally, a land with a long winemaking tradition. This red wine comes from vines cultivated in the sandy-calcareous soil of the Sardinian town of Florinas, where traditional farming practices maintain a perfect balance between human intervention and nature.

This respect for the natural environment is complemented by the great care and rigor of the work carried out by the Tenute Soletta wine cooperative in producing its wines. To make this Tenute Soletta Sardo Cannonau di Sardegna, the grapes were hand-harvested in 18 kg crates and then sorted. After destemming and crushing, the must was macerated with the skins in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, a process that lasted 20 days. For aging, the wine remained on its lees for 24 months in oak barrels and rested for another year in the bottle before being released for sale.

The result is a Cannonau di Sardegna DOC wine that is juicy, with notes of violet, coffee, plum, and ripe red fruit alongside mineral and earthy touches.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
