This small-production Albarino comes from a mix of young and very old vines, made to be a pure, straight-to-the-point take on the bracing variety! The citrus blossom top notes, and core fruit character of apple & nectarine, come with a wash of powerful, saline-like acidity into the well-balanced finish, making for a mouthwateringly delicious experience.

Located in the Val do Salnés subzone of Galicia’s Rías Baixas, [Pedro Mendez] has medium-aged vines and pre-phylloxera Albariño vines that are nearly two-hundred years old that look more like trees. These ancient plants fill his full-bodied Albariños with structure and a pure citrusy, salty, minerally, high acidity power that only Albariño possesses.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
