From one of Chablis’ oldest domaines, this 2023 1er Cru Vaillon is made in stainless steel to preserve the region’s minerality, then aged six months on fine lees. Set up in the town of Maligny, Lamblin Fils is one of the oldest Domaine in the Chablis region. The first traces of this family on this terroir date back to 1690... 

In 1890, Louis Lamblin, made his first move in trade. His son, Henri, had a double occupation of wine grower and merchant. He therefore acted upon the trade union lift of the vineyard and contributed to draw up many laws relating to the various appellation.

But at the end of the fifties it was his son, Jacques, that gave an international expansion to Lamblin.

In stainless steel tanks to respect the characteristics of the Chablis terroir and allow all its minerality to express itself. After fermentation, the 1er Crus are aged for 6 months on fine lees. The wine is then, if necessary, glued with bentonite (clay that absorbs the wine’s proteins and clarifies it naturally) and cooled to promote the precipitation of tartaric acid. Before bottling, Kieselguhr filtration to naturally clarify the wine.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
