Earthy and maritime with an oily richness, imagine walking into a dunnage warehouse by the sea. Soft smoke, citrus peel, brine, and waxy apples emerge with time. Textured and confident. Barley malt and salted caramel lead into hints of ginger, lemon zest, and subtle peat smoke. There’s a touch of minerality and old-school charm that speaks of honest craft. Long, dry, and lightly smoky. A gentle peppery warmth lingers, followed by oak spice and a faint coastal salinity.

Tasting Notes

Initially fruity with citrus notes and orange peel, after this: vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb and digestive biscuits can all be tasted and enjoyed.

Oak notes are dominant, followed by toasted marshmallows and dried fruit pudding, as well as cherries, marzipan and a hint of peat.

Velvet and smooth with lemon meringue, to conclude, there’s an oiliness and a saltiness that you’d expect from a Campbeltown dram.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
