The exceptional Omachi from the renowned Dewazakura brewery is one of the most approachable and complex sake in the store. Not one of these restrained barely there Daiginjo, but yet with tons of freshness. Omachi heirloom rice produces a Ginjo of great expressiveness and intensity without masking the elegance of the style at all. Big notes of lemon peel, floral honey, sweet tropical fruits, but on the palate no obvious sweetness. Instead a great richness and depth juicy fruit, warm sushi rice, green teas and more honey. This round expressive offering is perfect for all types of salty and savory fare.
