Talisker is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery located on the Isle of Skye, Scotland's only distillery on that island, operating since 1830. The distillery uses worm tub condensers, a traditional method that contributes to the characteristically maritime and peaty character found across all expressions. The Talisker 10 Year Old serves as the core age statement release, while the Talisker 18 Year Old and the rare Talisker 20 Year Old 1981 Cask Strength represent longer maturation. The Distillers Edition Double Matured expressions undergo a secondary finish in Amoroso sherry casks. Annual Special Releases such as the 8 Year Old Special Release 2024 and the 11 Year Old Special Release 2023 draw from select casks, with the House Greyjoy Talisker Select Reserve rounding out the range as a no-age-statement bottling.
