Domaine des Croix is a six-hectare (15-acre) wine estate situated in the Côtes de Beaune district of Burgundy and based in the central Côte d'Or town of Beaune. Previously known as Domaine Duchet, it was renamed when highly-regarded winemaker David Croix took charge in 2005.

Among its most highly regarded wines are the Corton Les Grèves, Corton La Vigne au Saint and Corton-Charlemagne grand crus, but the domaine is also known for its range of premier cru wines from Savigny-les-Beaune and Beaune.

Les Bressandes is Beaune Premier Cru vineyard in Burgundy. Most wines are reds from Pinot Noir, though some Chardonnay is also grown here. The 17 hectare (42 acre) plot is located towards the northern end of Beaune's belt of Premier Cru sites, to the north of Les Grèves and west of Les Cent Vignes.

From one of the top Beaune premier-cru vineyards, this wine is dark and dense with hints of wood as well as chocolate. To balance this, the ripe berry fruit is right there, deliciously fresh and with a tight line of acidity. A wine with a future, it is not ready to drink before 2020.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
