The 2023 Domaine A.F. Gros Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits Rouge is a fresh, elegant Burgundy Pinot Noir from the higher slopes of the Côte de Nuits, offering bright cherry and raspberry aromas with subtle earthy and mineral notes. Light- to medium-bodied with lively acidity and fine tannins, it is approachable young but can develop nicely over the next few years, showing purity of fruit and a crisp, refined finish.

Domaine A.F. Gros is a distinguished estate based in Pommard, helmed by Caroline Parent-Gros, whose lineage bridges two of Burgundy’s great winemaking families: Gros and Parent. The domaine cultivates its vineyards with lutte raisonnée (sustainable farming), minimizing chemical inputs and emphasizing respect for soil health and vine balance. Known for their precise and expressive Pinot Noir, A.F. Gros wines consistently reflect their origin with clarity and finesse.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
