This American bourbon is the best selling bourbon in the world, founded in 1795 and has been operated by one family for seven generations Jim Beam bourbon undergoes distillation at lower temperatures and is distilled to no more than 62.5%, the White label is aged for four years and has quite a high percentage of rye in the mash bill.
This pale caramel whisky has aromas of notes of vanilla, citrus zest and red licorice with a very slight herbal quality on the nose with good body with notes of toasty oak and all the requisite notes of vanilla and crème anglaise, a little spice and pepper with an acetone note in the mouth and long finish of watery caramel, corn, citrus and a faint bit of oak.
