So Far Out is a joint venture between Field Recordings, organic central coast grape grower Mike Testa, and long time Los Angeles wine industry veteran Jamil Williams (Amy Atwood/Silverlake Wines). So Far Out Winery is dedicated to producing everyday drinking organic wines from Santa Barbara County that are as delicious as they are sustainable.

So Far Out’s mission is to produce high-quality wines that are accessible and affordable for everyone, while still maintaining the quality and integrity that the wine consumer demands. The vineyards have been carefully selected by Mike Testa, who has focused his personal properties on growing organic grapes and providing sustainable, high-quality fruit to the local wine industry. His experience and knowledge in the field have helped to shape the way that So Far Out Winery approaches winemaking.

Subtle aromas of strawberry, orange and turned earth show on the nose of this Grenache-based rosé, which includes 5% Marselan. There's a lemon-peel bite to the palate, where river-stone elements show more texture than overt flavor.

Yes, in most cases, the photograph on the product page is of the specific bottle for sale. If we have multiple quantities of the same item, the photo represents the general condition of all bottles under that SKU. Any significant condition issues, such as low ullage or bin-stained labels, will be clearly noted in the product description. We are happy to provide additional high-resolution images upon request-please contact us.

We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we include complimentary ice packs in our insulated shippers. However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request.
