Domaine Tempier Bandol Rouge Lulu and Lucien 2022 1.5 Liter Magnum

The Bandol rouge Lulu et Lucien is mainly composed of Mourvèdre (~75%), complemented by Grenache and Cinsault, and a smaller proportion of Carignan and Syrah. The vines, with an average age of 35 to 40 years, fully express the richness and complexity of their terroir. The grapes are rigorously selected in the vineyard and in the cellar, then destemmed, crushed and placed in vats for a natural fermentation lasting 3 to 4 weeks using indigenous yeasts, thus preserving all the authenticity of the fruit. The wine is then matured in tuns for at least 18 months before bottling. It can be laid down for 4 to 10-15 years, or even longer depending on the vintage, allowing the full complexity of the cuvée to be revealed, with a harmonious blend of fruity and tertiary notes such as undergrowth, tobacco and old leather.
