Domaine Maratray-Dubreuil is a respected estate in the Côte de Beaune, known for its traditional expertise in producing fine Burgundy wines. The estate maintains a family tradition focused on authentic terroir expression
The vineyard is located in Aloxe-Corton, a prestigious village in the Côte de Beaune, renowned for its limestone and clay soils favorable to Pinot Noir cultivation. This terroir offers remarkable potential for elegant and structured red wines.
This red wine is made exclusively from Pinot Noir, the noble Burgundy grape variety. It reflects the finesse and complexity typical of an Aloxe-Corton, with notable aromatic depth and harmonious balance. There are no available Parker or RVF scores for this release, relying on its regional typicity.
The 2023 vintage saw favorable climatic conditions that allowed optimal grape ripeness. This vintage promises fresh wines with strong aromatic intensity and good aging potential.
Vinification follows traditional Burgundian methods, with careful maceration to extract delicate tannins. Aging in oak barrels enhances aromatic development and structure while preserving natural balance.
Bright-clear ruby color. Aromas of fresh red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, complemented by subtle notes of soft spices and undergrowth. Elegant and balanced with fine tannins, pleasant freshness, and a medium to long aromatic persistence.
