Banana aromas on the nose initially, followed by floral notes. On the palate, citrus and tropical notes are balanced by salinity, and an impression of sweet red peppers wraps a lengthy, warm finish.

Nova Fogo distillery is located in the heart of Brazil’s coastal rainforest, Floresta Atlântica. Designated by UNESCO as the world’s second-largest Biosphere Reserve for its animal and plant diversity.  The landscape is characterized by mountains and clouds, ocean and islands. Such is the magic of the Serra do Mar range, which stretches from way up in the state of Espiríto Santo to the state of Santa Catarina below. The distillery and organic sugarcane plantation are located at the base of this coastal mountain range.

If we have multiple quantities of the same item, the photo represents the general condition of all bottles under that SKU. Any significant condition issues, such as low ullage or bin-stained labels, will be clearly noted in the product description. We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request.
