A classic Russian River wine that dials back the ripeness and richness a bit for great balance and an appetizing texture. Dark cherries, red cherries, then some black tea, orange peel and cinnamon notes for complexity. Aged in 33% new French barrels using a dash of whole clusters. Moderate tannins and a full body.
